Glues

Glues for regular bat make up

This section features water based glues that will neither cause bats to fail in enez testing or are harmful to health. To use water based glue, spread the glue thinly on both the blade and rubber. Initially the glue is white in colour but will change to become transparent. At this point, generally between 20 - 30 minutes the rubbercan be fitted to the blade.

IMPORTANT It is recommended that players ‘air’ new products out of packets / bat cases for at least 72 hours after make-up to ensure that possible volatile compounds have dissipated. The risks are insignificant, but by so doing, you will minimise any possible health issues and the risk of the bat failing in the ‘enez’ bat testing devices used to identify the presence of VOCs at major ETTA / ITTF events.
